Over the last 7 years, I have worked in many different fields of information
technology and had many diverse projects.
My first job was with Pathfinder Resources,
a non-profit 503c organization located in Grand Rapids, MI.
There, I was a network administrator and database architect. To Bill Paxton and
Ann Vantassel, I learned many valuable lessons watching and absorbing your communication
with others. Your faith and beliefs have helped me to become the man I am today.
My second job was with
Industrial Service Technology located in Kentwood, MI.
I was a software support specialist, application designer, consultant, and industrial
engineer.
To Dick and Jane, company owners, thank you for your belief and trust in my abilities
even at an early age.
In 2005 Kurt Gallert, John Meyer, and I started "Engineering, Design, and Consulting
LLC".
Information about EDC can be located at www.edcgr.com.
Kurt runs his own mortgage business and more information can be located
at www.pgmort.com.
This site is not directed at my past, but at my future and my desire to be led
by GOD in all things I do.
I need Him to lead my path and I desire to submit to his will at all times. As God
has worked on me over the last year, I know that He has asked me to step out on
faith and trust that my future on this earth must be led by Him.
As you discover who I am through this site and determine if I am the right fit for your needs there are some pieces of information that you must know.
I have a beautiful wife and three wonderful gifts from GOD.
I do not have the perfect set of skills to complete your project flawlessly.
I have failed many times at hitting timelines and project checkpoints although I
usually finish.
The two projects that I did not finish had vague specifications and were modifications
to previous applications.
Knowing these things about me should help you to understand why I desire to be LedByGod from this point forward. My skill set is not perfect, but it is very refined. I have failed in my past, but I will not fail in the future with God. With that, I have vented and released myself from my past and look forward to my future.
I am a member of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, MI. God has taken me to a place that I never imagined in his ministry, which includes my personal responsibilities. He has placed many wonderful leaders in my life and has been opening doors for me my entire life. I am thankful and gracious that He has chosen me and continued to pour into my life even when I didn't deserve it.
I have thought that I was a strong Christian most of my life. Every passing day brings me to the realization that I am not nearly as positive and focused as I should be in all aspects of my life. I love the Lord and all things good, but we all know that this world is corrupt and deceitful. Temptation is always around the corner. Only through our belief and faith in Jesus Christ can we be saved from it.
My favorite passage is becoming James 4:17 NIV, "Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins." This simple easy to understand scripture encompasses a wide variety of our daily life encounters and experiences. I know that I can not be perfect. Every day that I am here on this earth and able to profess Jesus my desire is to live as close to perfection as I humanly can. The Holy Spirit gives each of us the understanding and reasoning of right and wrong. When God assigns a task to us through the spirit, we must accept and accomplish what He has set up for us. Storms will rage, but they come and go. A sinful nature should not be any of our desire. James 4:17 clearly tells us to do the good God has assigned us to. Not doing so would be equal to sinning.
